The Wallflower is located on Main Street and there is a really cool vibe about this restaurant that I can’t explain.
I don’t usually dine in restaurants that showcase paintings of promiscuous girls in seductive lingerie, so this was a first. 😛
Nature Girl ordered from the Vegan Breakfast menu and chose the Vegan Benny ($12). It consisted of portobello, marinated tofu, cheesy sauce, english muffin, salad, and hasbrowns.
I had a bite and overall I thought it was a pretty decent benny considering it was made with vegan ingredients. The portobello was a nice meaty substitute for the soft boiled egg/meat.
When I saw Breakfast Poutine ($10) on the menu, I instantly knew I had to order it. Where else could you find a frickin breakfast poutine?! Only in my wildest dreams!!
This gluten free (yay!!) breakfast poutine was made up of hash browns, two poached eggs, cheese curds, chicken gravy, and bacon. This was pure heaven on a plate. There are no words to describe the euphoria I experienced when eating this so just take my advice: come eat here.
