Whistler’s Best Food Festival: Cornucopia 2019

Whistler’s Celebration of Food + Drink, Cornucopia presented by BlueShore Financial, returns November 7-17, 2019. It is super exciting as this will be my first year attending, despite hearing a lot of amazing things about it over the years.

Cornucopia is truly a festival for foodies because it has everything from cooking demonstrations to drink seminars, winery dinners to Signature Tastings and late-night celebrations!

Drink seminars range from wine to beer to cocktails, and I’m personally going to attend a few classes myself as I’ve always wanted to learn more about wine but didn’t really know where to do so.

If you’re a luxury seeker, they also have Chef’s Table Luncheons held in lavish, private Whistler chalets and features a multi-course meal crafted by visiting chefs from around the world. Each meal is paired with feature wines from around the world – making these luncheons a splurge-worthy event! Some of these events are already sold out so make sure to get your tickets soon if you’re interested!

As a long time fan of YEW Seafood + Bar, I’m also super excited to attend The Corridor with YEW + SIDECUT. The Four Seasons Resort Whistler’s SIDECUT culinary team will be cooking side by side with their Vancouver and San Francisco properties to feed their guests (and I can’t wait!). Tickets are still available so feel free to join me! 🙂

If you enjoy tasting a wide selection of wine while speaking with the wine makers themselves, the Signature Tastings events are really going to be up your alley. The flagship Crush Grand Tasting or Poured Grand Tasting starts at $95 per person, per night.

Last but not least, you can’t go to Whistler without visiting the Scandinave Spa! It’s always my go-to place during a Whistler retreat and I am definitely going to pamper myself at the Scandinave Spa Bubble Bath on November 8th, 9:30-midnight. Each ticket includes exclusive hydrotherapy bath access, towels, robe rental, live acoustic music from Jennamae Webb, passed canapes from The Collective Kitchen and haywire will be onsite pouring their traditional method sparkling wine, The Bub.
