If you are a lover of seafood (like me), you simply must attend the BC Seafood Festival! I’ve been lucky enough to attend the past 2 years and every time I’ve been able to try and taste something new.
This year, the 13th annual BC Seafood Festival is once again being held in the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island, from June 7-16th, 2019. The Comox Valley region is well-known for its culinary bounty from the farms and sea-to-table and is the largest producer oysters in Canada.
Right now, they’ve released some limited Signature Weekend Passes for those wanting to get their tickets asap. Tickets are $15.00 per Day Pass, the Weekend Pass is $25, and the Weekend Pass with food vouchers is $70. The tickets will provide access to:
- Coast Capital Savings Chef Demonstration Stage
- Numerous Seafood Tasting Stations – Meet the Producers and Chefs
- BC Craft Beer, Wine and Spirit Tasting Stations
- Live Music Performances
- Largest Kids Interactive zone
Visitors can also enjoy the return of the famous Fanny Bay Oyster Shucking Competition, the Best Caesar in Town and the annual Chowder Challenge and ultimate seafood cooking contest with the BC Seafood Festival Chef Challenge presented by Garland Canada and FortisBC.
Visitors who purchase a Limited Release Signature Day Pass or Weekend Pass will automatically be entered into a draw for free weekend accommodation at the beautiful Old House Hotel and Spa in Courtnay, BC.
