Do you ever dream of ramen sometimes? I do.. I think I like ramen so much, it could be one of my most favourite food on earth.
When I determine whether the ramen I’m eating is good, I usually look for the this one attribute that will tell me if the ramen chefs know their sh*t. The egg. For all your ramen aficionados, I think you can agree with me in that the egg that is provided with the ramen HAS to be soft boiled with a soft gel-like yolk center. Until a couple of weeks ago I didn’t know I could re-create the perfect ramen egg at home. Now that I’ve perfected it (after MANY tries I tell ya), I want to share the recipe with all of you as well so you can make this at home!

Remember! The most important tip is to let the eggs marinade for 3-5 days! The more time you let it sit, the more ‘gel-like’ the yolk will get. Let me know what you think of the recipe in the comments below!
