If you are planning a trip to Boracay and doing your researching on Trip Advisor, you probably came across the famous “Jonah’s Fruitshake Snackbar” as one of the places to visit for delicious fruit shakes/smoothies while on the island.
Boracay is one of the islands in the Philippines and is definitely a must visit if you are vacationing in the area. I am writing a few posts on Boracay so make sure to check it out here before you plan your trip!
Jonah’s is located in Station 1 (Boracay is split up into 3 stations) and looks like a big tropical hut with lots of inside seating. It’s a huge restaurant right by the beach so don’t worry, you won’t miss it.
The place was completely packed when I went so we ordered a few smoothies to go.
Most of the smoothies cost roughly 3 dollars CAD which isn’t particularly cheap but understandable considering this is an extremely touristy island. The menu was extensive so it took us so long to make a decision!
Rae and I ended up getting the same thing except one was with milk and one was without. Mine was the one on the right and I got Papaya Mango Milk ($120 php/$3 CAD) . Rae’s was on the one on the left and she got the Papaya Mango shake without milk ($120 php/$3 CAD). I tasted both and thought both were equally delicious! The fruit on the island was undeniably fresh so this smoothie was like heaven in a bottle. You truly can’t go wrong with any drink from Jonah’s. If I stayed at Station 1, I would so get this every day!
